There is no garage at Terminal E today: Massport is building one with a direct connection to Central Parking. Overview: Terminal E at Logan
Terminal E handles most of Logan's international flights. Massport lists Aer Lingus and Etihad arrivals at Terminal C, but TAP Air Portugal's arrivals, and the international arrivals of American, Delta and JetBlue, at Terminal E.
For parking, the practical choices today are the covered Central Parking Garage (about an 8–10 minute walk by our estimate) or the Economy Parking Garage (free Route 88 shuttle, 15–25 minutes door to terminal by our estimate). Central is the faster, weather-protected option; Economy is cheaper and better for longer international trips.

Which should a Terminal E international traveler pick?
For a 1–4 day international trip, Central Parking on the $29 advance rate is the clear winner — heavy luggage is much easier on a covered walk than on a shuttle. For 7+ day trips, Economy at $29 advance ties on price but saves the walk time if you're on the drive-up rate. Arrive 3 hours before international departure
Massport recommends arriving three hours before an international departure. Check-in and bag-drop cutoffs are set by each airline, so confirm yours. By our estimate, that means leaving your car at Central Parking about 3 hours 15 minutes ahead, or at Economy Parking about 3 hours 30 minutes ahead.
Global Entry / TSA PreCheck return
Coming home, Global Entry and Mobile Passport users can clear customs in minutes at Terminal E. That's a meaningful argument for Central Parking — once you've cleared customs, you can be back at your car in under 15 minutes total. With Economy, you'll still wait for the shuttle after customs.
Duty-free timing
Duty-free shops at Terminal E generally close near the last international departure of the night and reopen with the morning bank — exact hours shift with the flight schedule, so check signage in the terminal. Liquid duty-free purchased at a connection (with an STEB sealed bag) can come through Logan on arrival.
Heavy luggage on the Route 88 shuttle
Economy Parking's Route 88 shuttle is a standard low-floor airport shuttle with a modest luggage area. International travelers with multiple large bags often find Central Parking worth the price difference — you roll your bags from car to check-in without lifting.
